28 November 2019<\/strong> \u2013 entry \u201cCroatian Renaissance Philosophy\u201d by Dr. Luka Bor\u0161i\u0107, Dr. Ivana Skuhala Karasman and Dr. Pavel Gregori\u0107, accepted for publication in Encyclopedia of Renaissance Philosophy <\/em>(ed. Marco Sgarbi, Springer Verlag).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

19 November 2019<\/strong> \u2013 Brill accepts the book proposal to produce a new and improved edition of Gu\u010deti\u0107’s Commentary on  Retorike <\/em>(ugovor u pripremi). Novo, popravljeno i dopunjeno izdanje ispravit \u0107e brojne propuste u Potthoffovu izdanju iz 2006<\/a>. Ovdje mo\u017eete usporediti izgled prvog odjeljka u Potthoffovu<\/a>izdanju i u izdanju koje priprema dr. sc. Gorana Stepani\u0107<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

October 2019<\/strong> \u2013 three works of Antun Medo kept in the State Archive in Dubrovnik (In librum duodecimum Metaphysicae Aristotelis expositio <\/em>[Venetii, 1598.] and In librum septimum Metaphysicae Aristotelis expositio<\/em> [Venetii, 1599.]) and in the Library of the Franciscan Monastery in Dubrovnik (Quaedam animadversiones in Praedicabilia Porphyrii <\/em>[Venetii, 1600.]) are scanned and made available to the public on the web-page \u201cCroatian Digital Heritage\u201d<\/a> curated by the Institute of Philosophy. The first and the third work are the object of research to be done by Dr. Dora Ivani\u0161evi\u0107 and Dr. Pavel Gregori\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10-12 October 2019<\/strong> \u2013 Dr. Pavel Gregori\u0107 attended the conference \u201cLes Quaestiones <\/em>d\u2019Alexandre d\u2019Aphrodise\u201d in Lyon and have a paper on Quaestio<\/em> 3.9. [program<\/a>]<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3 June 2019<\/strong> – opening of the exhibition on the occasion of the 350th anniversary of Matija Frki\u0107’s passing away (1583.-1669.), Library of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. The author of the exhibition is Dr. Ivana Skuhala Karasman. The exhibition will be open from 3 to 10 June 2019 and subsequently on this web-page. 23-30 April 2019<\/strong> – \u0160ime Demo visited Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana, where he inspected Gu\u010deti\u0107’s manuscripts Urb. Lat. 1219<\/a> and Urb. Lat. 1449<\/a>. He also consulted and copied some relevant volumes and articles in Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale, Biblioteca Universitaria Alessandrina, and Biblioteca Angelica. February 2019<\/strong> \u2013 Croatian translation of the relevant parts of Book III of Aristotle’s  De anima<\/em> (Chapters 4-8, on the intellect), on which Gu\u010deti\u0107 wrote a commentary in ms. Urb. Lat. 1449<\/a> , the first edition of which will be produced by Dr. \u0160ime Demo within this projet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
